We broke this news on the David Dorer Show live last week, and the headline says it all. Texas Governor Rick Perry has been indicted for misappropriating $200,000.00 that was intended to go to the District Attorney of Austin’s office for purposes of investigating fraud in the State government. The two-count indictment is provided below.
The Governor turned himself in to the Travis County Sheriff’s Department and was released on bond. The charges are said to be more political than substantive at this point, and are spurious at best, but we will see what happens as the prosecution of this case unfolds.
